Re-Entry

Coming back from a vacation or trip is always hard.  Re-entry is the absolute worst.  Today was my first day back in NH and back at work.

First of all, let me tell you that I left 85 degree sunny weather, so to come home and have to see my temperature say 0 degrees first thing this morning was unpleasant to say the least.  Then, I find myself at work with approximately 7 inches worth of paperwork stacked on my desk....I was only gone for 5 days...two of which were Saturday and Sunday!  Let's just say that today was not my day...I thought I'd be able to handle the re-entry a little better.  I mean, I had told myself that the snow is so beautiful and I'm excited to ski, but what I really wanted to do today was get on a plane and head right back to FLA.

I think I have the winter blues.  I'm sick and tired of cold gloomy weather.  I don't want to have to bundle up to let the dog out.  I don't want to have to shovel my car off in the morning, and I REALLY don't want to have dry and pale skin any more.

If this weather doesn't lay off I'm going to start proclaiming that I have Tiger Blood and tell everyone that I'm a winner.

Okay, enough of the downer talk.  Here are 3 things that do make me really happy to be home:

And #3...a mani/pedi on Saturday with a friend. Whoohoo!

Oscar Review

Here are my thoughts, in random order:

I mean, how amazing does J-Hud look...I can't get over her figure- she looks out of this world! The color on her is perfection.  The only criticism I had was...maybe put a push-up bra on- those guys are looking a little low

Halle Berry is Drop Dead Gorgeous...that dress is TDF as is her flawless makeup and choice of minimal jewelry (Can I get those earrings...hello!) 

This is her way of saying...Gabriel, don't mess with me.  Everyone loves me and if you dare take me to court your ass is back to Canada...xo Halle

Mixed feelings on this dress...my aunt and kirtie hated it, but I think that if anyone can pull this dress off, it's Cate Blanchet.  I can't decide if the dress is wearing her or she's just super tiny and trying to carry it off.

 

Love the dress, love the hair.  Hate the necklace...just wondering why she/stylist felt it was necessary to add that...I think the bracelet would have been enough on its own.

In your face Jesse James.  I look damn good.

I do not love this dress...the color is beautiful, her hair is cute but the dress is all wrong.  Maybe I'm just mad that she broke up with Ryan Reynolds...

Reese looks perfect.  She had hands down, my favorite hair of the night...maybe of the year!  I love that she chose a simple dress with simple lines. Can't wait to see what she chooses for her wedding!

Natalie looks beautiful.  She looks classic and glowing, that color is gorgeous on her...it was totally her night and she worked it.

Thoughts on...

First, I think I know y'alls thoughts on the first thing...I tweeted out a pic before (so sorry if you've already seen it) but I'm LOVING it.  I'm still in the process of getting it "fitted to the phone" but I can't get over the cuteness.

This next thing I haven't purchased...yet.  I need some thoughts on them before I buy.

Hear me out on these: For work everyday I wear an outfit of all black and it's up to me to find either jewelry or accessories to spice it up.  So, without further adieu:
