I'd like to introduce you to...

Brenda.

I'm sure you all have a Brenda, you know, that mean chick that says all the mean things you're thinking but would never say out loud. Oh, and if you don't have a Brenda living in your head then the Brenda in my head is calling you a liar.

Here's where Brenda got her name:
You know, Brenda that biotch from 90210...she would actually say all the mean thoughts she was thinking.

The Brenda that lives in my head thinks things like...
"Maybe you're fat because your shopping cart is full of chips, soda and more chips" or,

"You know that working out on the elliptical for 40 minutes doesn't do anything if there's no resistance on it"

"If you send me one more emoticon smiley face I will punch you in the face and then send you a smiley face"

and a personal favorite during football season (to the fan in the stands who criticizes every play call) "I'm sorry that your athletic peak came in middle school and now you have to watch from the stands."

That's the kind of stuff that goes through my pea brain...and if I'm the only person who thinks this kind of stuff then this post will be really embarrassing.  Here are some more examples that made me laugh because Brenda has totally thought this stuff:
Happy Monday to all of you...oh, and happy 600th post to Lindsay in NH

  4. I love this post! And you are certainly not the only person who has a Brenda in their head...I let my Brenda come out and speak her mind on my blog about once a week. Check it out at www.highfashion-cheapwine.blogspot.com

p.s. let me know if you're ever doing "blogger" things around NH, I'm just a hop, skip, and a jump away in Mass.

  5. I love that Brenda has a name! I've never thought of naming that part of my head. I just call it my Evil Twin. And I get so mad when it comes out, in my head. I usually think "oh my gosh, did I just think that?"
