So I'm pretty sure that you've figured out that I work at a gym, which means that I'm pretty much in workout clothes all day. This might sound cool but it's a total pain in the ass when you want to grab a drink or dinner with the hubby or some friends and you don't want to wear workout clothes! Hence my handy stash of a scarf, flats and a light sweater/jacket. Add some bronzer, poof the ponytail and I'm good to go! (granted this is NH and super casual is totally standard...I mean I just got rid of almost all my cocktails dresses because I've lived here for 3+ years and never worn one!)
What do you do in a pinch to get ready to go out?

Basketball Championship

So I was all set to tell you all about my total Suzie Homemaker weekend (I mean who am I) when I remembered the that Men's Basketball National Championship is on...therefore an outfit was required...plus that's just way more fun than hearing about my boring all-out cleaning/baking/cooking/organizing event this weekend.  I just wish I could wear something that cool tonight...but alas I'm sitting on the couch in my lulu gear from work and drinking wino with hubby.

not my exact sweater but love my Vince leggings and oversize cowl-neck sweater.  Layered my fav bracelets with my watch and rocked a full wrist!  Also love my fave Fresh-brand sugar lip balm and comfy flat black boots! Hope you all had great Thanksgivings and Black Fridays!!!!! XO

I am LOVING all of these accessories...that purple wallet is gorgeous, but my favorite thing is the textured grosgrain ribbon ring and necklace...pure preppy perfection.

Lucy's new bag

Happy Week before Christmas...!

I was up in Burlington, VT this past weekend and went into the CUTEST store...if you're ever up there it's called Monelle, and it is right on Church Street.

I stopped in to see what was new and low and behold they were having a Kate Spade sale! It must have been fate!

Workout dog also happened to be with me...luckily...because a Kate Spade dog carrier caught my eye! And...It was on SALE!

I am in LOVE with it, and more importantly, so is Lucy!

Although I must say, I took my time deciding on this purchase. I was with Matt so I saw it, tried it out, then left the store to think about it.

I thought about it for about 10 minutes before we went back in and Matt treated Lucy (and me!) to her new bag.
