Sometimes we have hard-knocks. It happens to everyone - although it's hard to remember that sometimes. What I've learned (and continue to work on remembering) is that you take the knocks as you can and move on. Don't dwell on the negative, change your mindset and move forward with confidence (thanks Dad).
That said, there's still a little part of you that wants to take the low road and walk away with your middle finger high in the air, but let's face it, that won't get you anywhere (even if it makes you feel better for a day). Hold your head high and move forward - there are great things to come.
I'm mostly writing this as a reminder to myself that (although I'm not particularly religious), God doesn't give you more than you can handle and you will make it to the other side. Only after that will you realize that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. (you're totally singing Kelly Clarkson in your head now)
