USA Bobsledding
watch this clip on the USA Bobsledding team. One of their pushers, Steve Messler (a fellow gator grad) is a former track coach of mine...and now he's in the Olympics!
So proud of him!

Blog Headers
In case you haven't noticed, right now I'm really into changing my blog header! Wanna know why...it's because I just learned how to create my own!
If anyone out there wants me to make them one just send me an email with some ideas/colors/preferences and I'll get on it!

Antlers and home decor?
Matt loves his deer antlers...and has a TON of them...I've been trying to find just the right spot for them (and no, the garage isn't an option I've been told). Here's some inspiration I found!
Antlers AND feminine touches...who knew!
I think the little cluster of antlers is kind of cool...almost like a collage!
Ooh...I love a good photo collage
This might be a little too rustic for me...but still stylish.

Change of header
Just an fyi...the header changed temporarily because a few people pointed out that the "heart" wasn't in the right place on the NH state outline.
It'll be back up and better than ever soon!

What would Matt say...
In case you can't tell...I'm really really into pink. What would Matt say if he came home and every room in his house was a different shade of pink!

A girl can dream...
I would DIE to have any of these closets. They make me want to go home and spend days going through all my clothes and reorganizing everything so that my closet can be transformed into this...
or this....
All I want for Christmas is an organized desk like this....looking at it makes me happy <3
Photos from the engagement party!
Decor and people photos from the big party!
The bar...many a good drink was had at this party thanks to the fab. bar and bartender!
Adorable...
Girls photo...the little one in white is the one who asked about licking a hobo's foot...just an FYI...
Matt's dad (just in from Jamaica) and two lovely ladies fighting over the "first impression rose"**
The two fams...and yes, the man in the navy sweater is the mysterious, seldom seen BT...
End of the night photo...this was at 12am...we had our own afterparty!!!!! Love the Teevens Fam...

My Weekend in Pictures
Saturday Night was dedicated to the "Valentini" aka the Cosmo...I had about five too many...pics from that night will be up soon.
Sunday morning was full of pancakes courtesy of my Valentine...they were DELICIOUS... :)
Sunday Afternoon was spent at Occum Pond skating with Matt, Meg and Sassy! Sassy even went down this slide on her belly...and slid about 10 feet...
The weekend ended with everyone watching the Olympics on the couch...oh and a game of "would you rather" with Sassy leading the way with this winner:
"Would you rather lick peanut butter off of your mom's face, OR, lick a hobo's foot"-I swear she said that...everyone just about died laughing.

Wedding Invites to DIE for
As I sit here at my desk, I go through my usual "get to work" routine. I get my coffee, I check my email, then...I check my "news"...aka my fav. blogs!
On this lovely morning I found myself on http://beautifulpaper.typepad.com/oh_so_beautiful_paper/ where they have recently posted some wedding invitations that are AMAZING. The typography is fab and the vintage feel is so chic.
Isn't that writing to die for...I am loving that right now. And how cool are those stamps?! The presentation is fantastic, it's like a favor in itself.
Okay, enough ogling other people's invitations...I need to get back to work (aka work on having handwriting like that) and then it's time for my first....ENGAGEMENT PARTY! I am so excited...I haven't picked out my outfit quite yet...but I'm sure there will be a fashion show of sorts when I get home to my mom, aunt and cousins!!!

Oh, and you can bet that Lucy has a party outfit...two words: Valentine's Sweater.

The most dramatic rose ceremony yet...
Ha! Ali is gone...she chose her job over Jake. But here's what I'm thinking, if Jake is the kind of guy who is interested in Vienna (trashy, doesn't play well with others), then he probably wouldn't end up with someone like Ali (classy, smart, grounded) anyways.
So let's all move on.
Who do you think he WILL choose...I think that he may be ending up with little miss twinkle toes...aka Tenley (did anyone else find the dance extremely awkward to watch). She seems to make him feel manly and in charge...whereas Vienna and Gia want to boss him around...something that he probably finds attractive now, but won't in a few years.
For anyone who missed the cringe-worthy dance routine by Tenley, I looked for it on YouTube but couldn't find it! I'll keep looking and post it when I find it.
What are your thoughts on last night's episode?! Should Ali have left?
Oh by the way...here's a dreamy picture of Jake...(your welcome).
xoxo

Paper Products...aka my drug of choice
Paper products are among my very favorite things in the world...I love anything and everything paper/stationary/label related.
As I sit here in the Providence, RI convention center, I find myself visiting long lost friends like....paper-source.com and tiny-prints.com.
Both sites have put out their Valentine's Day Finest...check it out-
How cute are these labels!
Or how about this card...

Lindsay's Got A New Bag
So I am continually on the search for the perfect purse. It needs to be not too big, not too small...just right.
Here's a bullet point of what I look for:
-Deep enough to fit a notebook
-At least one zippered pocket
-One large open pocket for phone
-Snap close capability (rather than zippered)
-Handles that can fit over my shoulder but aren't too long (no 80s purse for me)
Now, does that seem like to much to ask for? I think not....
Enter my most recent purchase from (the greatest store on earch)...J. Crew.

It has the perfect amount of storage space and has not 1 but 3 deep pockets....
Thoughts? It also comes in a matte black as well as this nude color.

Save The Date
Full Disclosure. I've wanted to put up a picture of our Save the Date since I got the proof (in NOVEMBER!) but have restrained myself until I was sure that everyone received theirs in the mail.
The day has finally come...here it is!!!
Thoughts?
I must give credit to the amazing Cara Marquis, from Marquis Creative for doing such a great job! I love it!
