Oscar Review

Here are my thoughts, in random order:

I mean, how amazing does J-Hud look...I can't get over her figure- she looks out of this world! The color on her is perfection.  The only criticism I had was...maybe put a push-up bra on- those guys are looking a little low

Halle Berry is Drop Dead Gorgeous...that dress is TDF as is her flawless makeup and choice of minimal jewelry (Can I get those earrings...hello!) 

This is her way of saying...Gabriel, don't mess with me.  Everyone loves me and if you dare take me to court your ass is back to Canada...xo Halle

Mixed feelings on this dress...my aunt and kirtie hated it, but I think that if anyone can pull this dress off, it's Cate Blanchet.  I can't decide if the dress is wearing her or she's just super tiny and trying to carry it off.

 

Love the dress, love the hair.  Hate the necklace...just wondering why she/stylist felt it was necessary to add that...I think the bracelet would have been enough on its own.

In your face Jesse James.  I look damn good.

I do not love this dress...the color is beautiful, her hair is cute but the dress is all wrong.  Maybe I'm just mad that she broke up with Ryan Reynolds...

Reese looks perfect.  She had hands down, my favorite hair of the night...maybe of the year!  I love that she chose a simple dress with simple lines. Can't wait to see what she chooses for her wedding!

Natalie looks beautiful.  She looks classic and glowing, that color is gorgeous on her...it was totally her night and she worked it.

Thoughts on...

First, I think I know y'alls thoughts on the first thing...I tweeted out a pic before (so sorry if you've already seen it) but I'm LOVING it.  I'm still in the process of getting it "fitted to the phone" but I can't get over the cuteness.

This next thing I haven't purchased...yet.  I need some thoughts on them before I buy.

Hear me out on these: For work everyday I wear an outfit of all black and it's up to me to find either jewelry or accessories to spice it up.  So, without further adieu:

I'm serious, I want to hear from all of you...are they a "Yay" or a "Nay"

Warm Thoughts

I'm heading to Fla in a few days and can't seem to stop thinking about what I'm going to wear...the warm weather, the beach...I just can't wait!

On another note, is anyone else watching the Bachelor? I was so creeped out by Shawntel and her funeral home job that I had to turn the tv off for a minute. Chantel O had the best home-date...just sayin'!

Organizing Organizing and more Organizing!




Streamlined my dressing table (too much clutter stresses me out)




Found a way to display my sunnies so I can see them!

Also, cleaned and organized the bathroom (pics another day) and made my fav- Mexican chicken soup!

Finally feeling better...thank the Lord- never thought I'd be so grateful to get outside, even in freezing temps!

What to wear...to a concert in the city!

So a good friend of mine is going to a concert in the city and wants to look hot!  Mind you, she is hot and has a rockin' bod that's not hard to dress up.  I have a dress on loan to her that's similar to the one in the picture...all she needs now are some knee high boots, gold hoops, a fun cocktail ring and a fun-colored scarf (to break up the black).

As far as makeup, I think it would be fun to have black eyeliner with some smoky eyeshadow and lots of mascara.

Sorry I've been out of posting for a while...I just found out that I have the flu :(

Since I'm bed-bound for the next few days, does anyone have any movie rental suggestions, tv show suggestions, basically any entertainment ideas!!!!!  I'm going stir crazy...and hubby won't get near me because he doesn't want to get sick.

At least I have my trusty companion Lu...who won't leave my side.  She had to be dragged outside this morning by hubby to go to the bathroom!

Funny story about this card...people got it, looked at it then promptly called/emailed/came up to me and asked if I was pregnant!  They thought the firework heart was an ultrasound!!!!!!

Undecided

So I'm still growing up and into my own style...but sometimes it's hard! Some days I'm really into Anthropologie and all of its bohemian charms while other days it's Pottery Barn and it's preppy appeal

...I guess you could say that I'm still trying to figure it all out, as is evident by the pics below!

What can I say, I love them all! (and apparently I have a thing for upholstered headboards)
